Pre-Kindergarten

Pre-Kindergarten at Saint Bernadette is the beginning of a grand adventure in learning! Classes are play-based and designed to meet the needs of active, young children.  As your child learns and plays with classmates, communication and problem-solving skills are developed. Your child will learn and practice social interactions and good manners.

In our safe and joyful environment, students will be introduced to Spanish, music, science, math, technology, and creative expression through the arts. Through the celebration of religious and secular holidays, your child will gain knowledge of Catholic traditions and diverse cultures.

Our youngest Cardinals experience God through daily religious instruction, prayer, and through relationships with loving teachers. Our Pre-K program will set the stage for your child to thrive as a life-long learner!

Saint Bernadette Preschool is a Diocesan School under the direction of the Office of Catholic Schools. We are a Religiously Exempt Child Day Center in accordance with the state requirements (Virginia Department of Education). For additional information, refer to our Public Disclosure Statement.

Our goal is primarily the development of the whole child, emphasizing balanced growth in all areas: social, emotional, intellectual, physical, creative and spiritual. Our desire is to be a service to families with young children by providing a quality Catholic preschool program.
