Art

Walking through the halls of Saint Bernadette, you will encounter the profoundly beautiful and creative artworks made by our students. In grades PK-5, your child will participate in weekly art classes focusing on a famous artist or story. Following the introduction, students will use a variety of media to create art related to the day’s lesson. Projects cross the range of human emotion and expression, and include everything from fun and whimsical, to educational, to religious. Students are encouraged to add their own “voice” to the project through their personal interpretation and expression.

The art program at Saint Bernadette teaches students that there are no mistakes in art, only opportunities. Your child will create a collection of their own personal masterpieces that you will want to proudly display on your refrigerator or frame as memories.
